harry potter definitely makes this list, so i decided to go with the illustrated edition which would be a perfect bedtime kind of story

again, i’m going with the illustrated edition of this book. somehow, i just think books with illustrations or pictures would be a nice fireplace read.

a good holiday read would definitely have to include a fantasy novel. it just seems perfect for winter. i chose an ember in the ashes which is a 2015 debut and the next book doesn’t come out until 2016, so hurry up and get caught up on this series!!

4.My True Love Gave to Me: Twelve Holiday Stories

my true love gave to me is a collection of 12 holiday stories each centered around christmas. i’m currently reading this book and am really enjoying it so far.

winter seems like a good time to read those murder mystery novels that have been sitting on your shelves. one author that i highly recommend is dan brown or if not, james patterson.

not having seen a fireplace in my entire life due to living in singapore, a country whose temperature is above 30 degree celcius everyday, my recommendations might not be the most accurate but i still hope it’s still of some help for those looking for a holiday tbr to read during winter break ❤
